Apple recently revealed its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, which replaces the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, and you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, ahead of the September 19 release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after much anticipation (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, the new A19 chip is faster as well as more optimized, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a huge bump in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
On the camera front, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more refined.
If you're due for an upgrade and are planning to get the new iPhone 17, you can rest assured that you'll have no shortage of case website options, with Campad Electronics, a reliable Australian retailer, already listing a broad selection of cases for all iPhone 17 models, from minimalist cases to more tough and rugged options.
